The Bridges Program engages with people and institutions of different faith and cultural backgrounds to work on various community projects. Bridges Program’s goals are to advance our families, communities, and educational plans using the wealth of information, experience, and expertise we, the community, command by pooling resources from different faith-based and cultural organizations, which we belief are the foundations of a strong community.
The Bridges Program provides and participates in many community development and Social services throughout North America. We aim to build bridges between different faith-based organizations and cultures to address various family, communities, and individual issues that our communities face each day.
While we strive to serve the community as a whole, recent world events has turned our attention towards the influx of refugees arriving in North America. They need basic education, family counseling, English language instructions, and employment skills. To accomplish this enormous endeavor, Bridges Program provides many services in partnership with other organizations that include, but are not limited to following Services:
• Teaching English as a Second Language
• Basic reading, writing, math and social skills
• Life Coaching Programs
• Women Empowerment Programs
• Community Outreach programs
• Peace education and training
• Youth Development programs
• Family Education
• Premarital training sessions
• Cross Cultural Programs
• Leadership training
